i think wat i love most about malec is how they break the gay/bi stereotype. like, magnus would be stereotypically gay because of his feminine nature over masculine (makeup, jewelry, hair color etc which are all traditionally feminine) and alec would be stereotypically bi because of his masculine nature over feminine (muscularity, athleticism, emotional strength etc which are all traditionally masculine) but nah. shadowhunters said fuk ur stereotypes alec is gay as hell my guy
